Meet the #bookstagrammer, & #BookShark

Hey there Bookwyrms! Its Friday and that means *drum roll* It’s time for … Meet the #Bookstagrammer, #Blogger & #Bookshark!

Without further adieu, let’s put our hands together for my next guest!!

Name &/or @handle: Suzanne, @thebookblondie

Suzanne’s a #bookstagrammer and #BookShark

Location: New Jersey, U.S.

Favorite Genres: Thriller and Contemporary Fiction

What are you currently reading? How is it so far?

My Lovely Wife by Samantha Downing… and I’m really liking it! The first chapter started off creepy and twisted!

What are two books we’d find in your beach/pool bag?

Oh geez… I think I’m the only person who doesn’t make an organized pile of books to read. I honestly just go with the flow and pick up whatever seems interesting to me at the moment.

Interviewer Interruption: I completely understand. This summer, I’ve had a problem reading fantasy books. So I decided that I’d do a Follower’s Choice on bookstagram or pick up contemporary books. Right now I have no idea what I’m going to read next lol.

What are your favorite movie or tv show adaptations?

This one is going to be controversial, but it was Game of Thrones. I remember when my brother introduced me to the show after the first episode. I was so dedicated to the first season of the show… and then I found out there were books. I read all four of the released books before the second season even began. This final season was a serious let-down, but it didn’t taint my viewpoint on the rest of the series.

What’s your favorite childhood book?

My favorite books that I was excited to read would have to be the Harry Potter series. I remember going to the bookstore with my mom to pre-order each book before it came out. My favorite book from when I was very young would have to be Geraldine’s Big Snow by Holly Keller. Winter has always been my favorite season and there’s just something about a pig playing in the perfect snowstorm that hooked me from the beginning.

And finally, Physical, E-book or Audiobook, which do you prefer?

Physical books are my favorite, but I’ve recently started to like listening to audiobooks while I drive. I’ll read e-books when publishers send me galleys, but I get distracted and tend to procrastinate with those.

Thank you for allowing us to get to know you Suzanne! I enjoyed reading your responses and although I haven’t read any of the Game of Thrones books, I completely agree with you that this final season was a let-down.
