Hey there Bookwyrms! Its Friday and that means *drum roll* It’s time for … Meet the #Bookstagrammer, #Blogger & #Bookshark!

Without further adieu, let’s put our hands together for my next guest!!

Name & @handle: Tiff Ferrell, @theroyalhistorian

Tiff’s a #bookstagrammer, #blogger & #bookshark

City: Barry, Illinois

Favorite Genres: Historical fiction, History, Memoir and Biography are my faves but I also love horror and YA – I’m always open to read something new!

Interview

What are your favorite movie or tv show adaptations?

Game Of Thrones (though not gonna lie, I was expecting the books to be done before the show)

Birdbox completely blew my mind!

Also the White Queen, the White Princess and The new Spanish Princess, Wolf Hall – I love it when historical books loosely based on fact are made into shows. (I nitpick at times but I have to keep reminding myself this always happens!)

Interviewer Interruption: I am dying to watch The Spanish Princess! It looks so good!

What’s your favorite childhood book?

I was a huge fan of the American Girl Series – Samantha and Molly‘s books were my favorite!

What is the last book you gave a 5-star rating to?

I think it was Becoming by Michelle Obama.

Apart from books, what do you love to do? What are some of your hobbies?

Im a huge fan of Fashion and History (all kinds but I have a special place for Royal History), Love following the newest haute couture on the runway. I love writing and taking care of the elderly. I’m a part-time CNA and a part-time activity aid for the nursing home I work at. I also like to make things – plastic canvas creations of some my favorite things. I ghost hunt with friends and go on haunted tours – The author of many true story haunting books (Troy Taylor) has ghost tours throughout Illinois and the Midwest.

What are your top 3 bookish fandoms?

Harry Potter

Game Of Thrones

Is The Handmaid’s Tale considered a fandom? I literally just love Margaret Atwood’s work in general.

Interviewer’s Interruption: Oh it is definitely considered a fandom! I have yet to read the books but I’m thinking about picking them up some time next year.

Thank you for allowing us to get to know you Tiff! I love that you have a variety of interests and although I’m not a fan of anything horror or paranormal (outside of Vampires and Werewolves lol), I might give a ghost tour a shot
