Hey there Bookwyrms! Its Friday and that means *drum roll* It’s time for … Meet the #Bookstagrammer, #Blogger & #Bookshark!
Without further adieu, let’s put our hands together for my next guest!!
Name: Tree @treereads
Tree’s a #bookstagrammer, #blogger and #BookShark
Location: Orange County, California
Favorite Genres: YA Contemporary, Romance & Historical Fiction
What’s your favorite childhood book?
Once I learned to read I became an avid reader. I loved the American Girl books, the Dear America series, and the Little House on the Prairie series. One of my favorite picture books was Cinder Edna by Ellen Jackson.
What are your top 3 bookish fandoms?
Harry Potter, Six of Crows, and The Stalking Jack the Ripper fandoms .
What do you like the most about the book community? Least?
I love the friends I have made and all the amazing books I have learned about thanks to the community. My TBR might be overwhelmingly large, but I have found some of my favorite books because of the community.
I am not a fan on the obsession with numbers (number of followers etc). I also wish people talked about lesser known books more.
Interviewer Interruption: Oh trust me, I think being apart of the community requires an overwhelmingly large TBR. I’m not a fan of the obsession with numbers either even though I fall into that trap constantly myself.
What are your favorite movie or tv show adaptations?
The two that come to mind are the Love, Simon movie and The Hate U Give movie. Both of these stories were beautiful to see on the big screen and I cried during both films.
Interviewer Interruption: I also adored both films and books and cried my eyes out reading and watching The Hate U Give.
And finally, count your age across your bookshelf. What book do you get?
Always Never Yours by Emily Wibberly & Austin Siegemund-Broka
I loved this contemporary so much!
Thank you for allowing us to get to know you Tree! It’s always great discussing books with someone who enjoys genres similar to my favorite genres. Hopefully we’ll both conquer our ever-growing TBR list!
