Top 5 Places I Can’t Wait to Visit – Domestic

After getting so much positive feedback from the Top 5 Places I Can’t Wait to Visit – International post, I figured it would be great to share some cities and states I want to venture to in the United States!

Here are some places I plan on visiting once the COVID-19 pandemic dies down:

New Orleans, Lousiana

I have wanted to visit this beautiful coastal city for as long as I can remember. More specifically after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. It began with wanting to go to the Essence Music Festival with my mom and friends. And grew from watching shows like The Originals and NCIS New Orleans lol

I’d planned on going to NOLA for my birthday this year. And is one of the first cities in the U.S. that I plan on traveling to once the pandemic subsides.

Savannah, Georgia

I currently reside in Atlanta but when I first heard of Savannah, I thought, “Ahh this will be my local Martha’s Vineyard!” Growing up in NYC, I took being on the coast for granted. Now that I’m landlocked, I am desperate to get to the coast soon!

Nashville, Tennessee

The city of music! This city is fairly new on my travel bucket list. After witnessing the Parthenon in Athens, Greece, I’ve been obsessed with seeing the full remodel in Nashville. And with my new found love of country music, I’d love to visit one of its capitals!

Denver, Colorado

Another fairly new city on my travel list, there is no rhyme and reason as to why I want to visit Denver. It’s just a city in a region of the U.S. that I’d like to visit.

San Francisco, California

And finally, San Fran! Whether its because I want to see the home of Silicon Valley or the home of the Golden State Warriors … nah lol It’s mostly because it’s the setting for two of my favorite tv shows growing up; That’s So Raven and Full House! My family traveled to San Fran before I was born. And seeing all of their pictures has also made me want to visit.

There you have it! Some of my top cities that I’m hoping to travel to soon. Have you been to any of these places? Do you also plan on visiting any of these cities? Let me know in the comments down below.
