Hey Bookwyrms! It’s been awhile! To be honest June is the worst month for me for personal reasons so I anticipate i’ll be taking month long breaks in the future. While on break though, I may or may not have binge-watched a bunch of booktube videos. And they may have been the annual mid-year freak out book tags lol It’s so much fun to see what books people are excited for, check out some new releases and find books and characters I have in common. So I figured why not join in on the fun!
Best Book You’ve Read So Far in 2020
All Boys Aren’t Blue by George M Johnson
This Memoir-Manifesto took me on such a rollercoaster ride of emotions that within a span of minutes I raged in anger, cried profusely, or opened my ears and heart to George’s life experiences. It came highly recommended to me and now I recommend it every chance I get. If you haven’t picked this one up yet, please do yourself a favor and pick it up!
Best Sequel You’ve Read So Far in 2020
Wild at Heart by K.A. Tucker
I’m a huge fan of K.A. Tucker and her books! And when I found out that we’d be getting a sequel to A Simple Wild, I was ecstatic and if I’m being honest, I was a bit apprehensive. However, K.A. Tucker definitely did not disappoint! And following Calla and Jonah’s journey and relationship was emotional, and satisfying.
